Teen sensation Kimi Antonelli delivered a breakthrough moment in qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix, becoming the youngest pole-sitter in Formula 1 history after a dramatic Q3 session in Shanghai. The Mercedes rookie seized the opportunity when team-mate and championship leader George Russell ran into trouble during the decisive phase of qualifying, allowing Antonelli to secure the top spot with a composed late effort.
