van der Garde poised to reveal future
Regardless of whether Luiz Razia alleged deal with Marussia is formally announced today (Friday), the GP2 Series could claim another F1 graduate if speculation that Giedo van Garde is about to join Caterham proves true.The Dutchman has been in the frame to partner Charles Pic since the 2012 season ended, but confirmation has had to wait while the team worked through its options, including an on-off relationship with Vitaly Petrov amid rumours that he had secured a return to the Leafield line-up providing Russian backing came through.Talks with Petrov reportedly broke down again a couple of weeks ago, leaving the road clear for van der Garde and the likes of Bruno Senna and Luiz Razia to...
