Mercedes W04 breaks cover

The new Mercedes W04 has been revealed after it hit the track in Jerez as part of the team's filming day. Nico Rosberg has been driving the new car on the circuit with new team-mate Lewis Hamilton taking photographs trackside as Mercedes announced a new partnership with BlackBerry. Despite having already broken cover, the W04 will be officially launched at lunchtime with the team unveiling it on the start/finish straight at 1335 local time. The new car makes use of the vanity panel to cover the stepped nose, while the team has also reverted back to Coanda-effect exhausts having ditched the system at the end of the 2012 season.
