Ferrari: Expect surprise and shock in Australia

Ferrari are expecting the first race of the 2013 season to provide some 'surprises' and some 'shocks' as the teams failed to fully understand the Pirelli tyres during testing. Pirelli has revised its compounds across the board, making them all softer, which has in turn made them degrade faster.  Technical director Pat Fry believes tyre management will once again play a dominant role in which driver comes out on top at the first race, as they continue to understand just how the tyres interact with the car and track.
