Massa outguns Alonso in fourth straight qualifying session

Felipe Massa’s return to form is no good news for Fernando Alonso with the Brazilian now having out-qualified his Ferrari teammate in the last four races, which included the final two Grands Prix of the 2012 season. On the front row for the first time since the 2010 Bahrain GP, Massa proved to be quicker than the Spaniard for the second straight qualifying session this year, this time at the Malaysian Grand Prix. The four-race run, however, is a bit skewed as Massa was docked five places on the grid when he took a penalty for a gearbox change to push Alonso further up at the United States Grand Prix last year.
