Webber: Vettel ignored pre-race strategy

Mark Webber criticised Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel following this afternoon’s Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang, claiming that the reigning World Champion ignored the original race plan and ‘made his own decisions’ en route to victory. Webber, who led for the majority of the 56-lap race, lost out in the final stages when Vettel made a move stick on the Medium tyre compound. According to the Australian, the team had already told the race was over, with his engine being turned down.
