Pirelli to sell HRT car on eBay for charity

Pirelli hopes to raise money for charity by selling the HRT F112 car it bought from the stricken company at the end of 2012. The tyre supplier had planned to use the engine less car, bought after the HRT team went bankrupt, as a promotional tool rebranded in Pirelli colours. However the company's motorsport director Paul Hembery explained to Reuters that there had been little interest from the marketing department, so they will instead sell the car on eBay.
