Domenicali downplays points gap

Stefano Domenicali isn't at all concerned about Fernando Alonso's 30-point deficit in the standing as the season still has a long way to go. The double World Champion lost points in Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix when a malfunctioning DRS dropped him down the order. The Spaniard was running in second place when the system broke, resulting in not one but two trips into the pits to close the wing. From there on he couldn't use it, a major disadvantage at a track with two DRS zones. But despite his handicap, Alonso still brought his car home in eighth place.
