Former Ferrari team manager Gozzi dies

"true">Franco Gozzi, who acted as the team manager of Ferrari in the late 1990s, passed away in hospital in the city of Modena on Tuesday. The Italian was 81-years-old. "We have lost a key figure in the history of Ferrari," explained current President Luca di Montezemolo, who was a long-time friend of Gozzi. "My most abiding memory is of all the hours we spent together, talking about drivers and cars and I am grateful for the fact he was close to me when I was a young Sporting Director at the Scuderia." For around thirty years, Gozzi worked side by side with founder Enzo Ferrari.
