Merc shifting half focus to 2014

Mercedes will have half its workforce focusing on next year's car before the end of May, according to executive director Toto Wolff. Next season Formula One will undergo a massive overhaul of the regulations centered around the switch from 2.4-litre V8 engines to 1.6-litre V6 turbos. Many believe the change could shake-up the grid especially if one of the big teams falls off the pace in the development race. As such Mercedes are already looking to the future with Wolff revealing that more than half their workforce will soon be focused on next season.
