Ricciardo excited by Toro Rosso updates

Daniel Ricciardo admitted he is having to "try not to get too excited" about the Toro Rosso updates after Friday practice for the Spanish Grand Prix. In FP2 both Toro Rossos were closely matched with Force India and ahead of McLaren, while Jean-Eric Vergne had been third fastest in the morning session. Ricciardo said the position was a result of the team's upgrades delivering what it had predicted and as a result he was trying not to get carried away after a strong day. "Everyone seems to run pretty high downforce here, but I think generally it seems to be the updates are working," Ricciardo said.
