Ferrari's Fry in hospital with kidney stone

Ferrari Technical Director Pat Fry has been taken to hospital with a suspected kidney stone, meaning the Briton will be absent from the pit wall throughout qualifying. Following the third and final practice session on Saturday morning, Fry complained of discomfort and visited the medical centre at the Circuit de Catalunya for checks. After an initial consultation, he has now been admitted to hospital for further tests. Ferrari says the situation is not serious and a decision as to whether Fry can return to the track on Sunday will be taken after doctors further examine his condition.
