Pirelli to change tyres

Pirelli have vowed to make changes to their tyre compounds after a Spanish GP which was summarised by Red Bull boss Christian Horner as being about "tyres, tyres and tyres".Although Pirelli were instructed upon their appointment as F1's sole tyre supplier to spice up the racing, Sunday's confusing, almost pedestrian race - which featured 82 pit-stops despite three retirements - felt like a tweak too far as tyre preservation became the clear priority ahead of outright pace.
