Whitmarsh mum on engine plans

Martin Whitmarsh has refused to comment on reports that McLaren have let to their engine option with Mercedes for 2015 lapse. According to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport, "the team from Woking had until the end of April to decide whether to also use Mercedes in 2015." The report added that sources have reported that "this period has elapsed." This has raised suggestions that McLaren could be looking to Honda to supply them with 1.6-litre V6 engines for next season. Whitmarsh, though, isn't saying which way McLaren are leaning.
