Pirelli predict two-stop Monaco Grand Prix

Pirelli has predicted this weekends Monaco Grand Prix to be a two stop race due to the lower degradation and wear rates. The Formula One supplier will bring the yellow banded soft and red banded super-soft compounds to the prestigious race, one that Motorsport Director Paul Hembery is intrigued to see how it pans out. Speaking in a statement from Pirelli, he shared his prediction for this weekends strategies. 'In Monaco we’d expect an average of two pit stops per car, because in complete contrast to the last race at Barcelona, Monaco has very low tyre wear and degradation.'
