Perez: Monaco rewards experience

Sergio Perez says he is hoping to score points for McLaren at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, but is wary of guaranteeing them after a fraught history with the venue.The Mexican appeared to be on his way to a decent start in the 2011 event, having made it through to the top ten shoot-out in qualifying, but then suffered a major accident on the run to the chicane which left him in hospital and most definitely out of the race.Indeed, the knock-on effects of the shunt ultimately ruled Perez out of the ensuing round in Montreal, but he bounced back to make enough of an impact on the sport to be snapped up by McLaren as replacement for Lewis Hamilton this season.Surprisingly for one renowned...
