Webber underwhelmed with third place

Mark Webber admitted it wasn't an exciting race as he finished third in the Monaco Grand Prix. Starting from fourth, Webber held station at the start of the race and only managed to make up one place when he jumped Lewis Hamilton as the Mercedes pit during a safety car period. Having struggled with his starts in recent races Webber said it was "sod's law" he couldn't benefit from a good one in Monaco, but that it was solely a race of tyre preservation from that point. "For us, we knew it was a little bit against us starting from the second row but I got an absolutely incredible start," Webber said.
