Perez 'frustrated' by Monaco retirement

Sergio Perez has shared his frustration at retiring from the Monaco Grand Prix, a race where he felt he had 'driven hard and fast.' The Mexican made the Nouvelle Chicane his own, passing the likes of team-mate Jenson Button and double world champion Fernando Alonso into the tight turn. However he took it one step too far later on in the race when vying for position with another world champion, Kimi Raikkonen. The two tangled after Perez went for an over-ambitiously small gap and was squeezed into the barrier by the ‘Iceman'; the clash damaged his brakes and caused his retirement a few laps later.
