Suspension failure causes Massa crash

Felipe Massa suffered two heavy and almost identical crashes over the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The first, which occurred during Saturday practice, was put down to driver error but the second has been the focus of a Ferrari investigation and the results have revealed it to be a completely different cause. Massa crashed out of Sunday's race on lap 29 and whilst it looked the same as his earlier accident, the team revealed that it was in fact suspension failure which caused the crash and not driver error.
