Michael: Gradually moving forward

McLaren sporting director Sam Michael admits his team will struggle to add another Canadian GP victory to their tally this weekend. Although McLaren are tied with Ferrari on the leading number of Canadian GP wins, 13, the team are by no means the favourites to win this weekend. Despite massive efforts from everyone at Woking and small signs of improvement, McLaren are still lagging behind their rivals in terms of pace. With just 37 points in six races, they are also far behind Red Bull Racing's 164 points in the Constructors' Championship.
