Di Resta fastest in mixed opening session

Paul di Resta set the pace during a mixed opening practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix on Friday morning, with a wet track surface gradually improving sufficiently to warrant a late flurry of slick-tyre runs. The Force India driver, who posted a best time of 1:21.020, led McLaren's Jenson Button by 0.088 seconds, with Romain Grosjean third. More to follow.
