Hembery pulls out of FIA conference

Pirelli's motorsport director Paul Hembery will not attend Friday's FIA press conference following practice for the Canadian Grand Prix after his legal team advised him against it. Hembery had been scheduled to take part in the session alongside Ross Brawn (Mercedes), Stefano Domenicali (Ferrari), Christian Horner (Red Bull), Monisha Kaltenborn (Sauber) and Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren). It's believed his legal team are keen to avoid questions about the secret tyre test with Mercedes following the Spanish Grand Prix, especially when he is sat alongside Mercedes team principal Brawn, the two principal's from the protesting teams and FOTA chairman Whitmarsh.
