Electrical issue cuts short di Resta's day

Paul di Resta endured a mixed day during practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Brit was fastest in a damp first session but was only thirteenth in the afternoon session, which was cut short when his Force India VJM06 developed an electrical issue. 'We were quite cautious with the wet weather this morning and we only fitted the dry tyres for the last few minutes of the session,' he said of his run during the first session. 'Before that I had a good run on the intermediates and felt happy with the performance – probably the most comfortable I’ve felt on the intermediates this year.
