di Resta falls short again in Q1

Force India's practice form deserted Paul di Resta when it mattered most in Montreal, leaving the Scot facing Q1 elimination for the second race running.Having topped the Friday morning times at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and returned to the top ten in Saturday's truncated session, di Resta was unable to find any time on his last run in the opening phase of qualifying and wound up 17th, the first of those not to progress.The Scot was joined on the wrong side of the cut by the man who finished third in both of Friday's sessions, Romain Grosjean, the Frenchman making a mistake on his last real effort and winding up 19th.
