Marshal in 'critical condition' after accident

A Canadian Grand Prix marshal has been airlifted to hospital after an incident following the end of the race whilst they and four other marshals recovered Esteban Gutierrez's Sauber to the pits. According to fans in the grandstand, the marshal tripped whilst running alongside a recovery vehicle and it proceeded to run over him. He had been stabilising the Sauber at the time with three other colleagues. The track's medical team were almost immediately on the scene and, according to one fan, were seen lifting the marshal onto a spinal board before heading to the medical centre.
