Marshal severely injured at Canadian GP

A marshal was accidently run over by a tractor at the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday which left the 38-year-old in critical condition with several fractures in a hospital. The incident occurred when marshals were accompanying the crane that had lifted the stricken Sauber of Esteban Gutierrez from the track. “At one point the worker tripped in the path of the mobile crane, but the operator of the crane didn’t seem him and continued driving, said François Dumontier, president and CEO of Octane Management and president of the Canadian Grand Prix,” reported The Montreal Gazette.
