McLaren winless for first time in three years

Having won the Canadian Grand Prix for the past three campaigns, McLaren failed to register a single point at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday afternoon, with drivers Sergio Pérez and Jenson Button finishing 11th and 12th respectively. The result also marks the first time the Woking-based outfit has been unable to score a point since the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, during which Lewis Hamilton retired with a brake issue and Heikki Kovalainen crossed the line in 11th position.
