Ricciardo tops rain-affected first practice
Daniel Ricciardo set the pace during a severely rain-affected opening practice session for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Friday morning. The Toro Rosso driver, who clocked a best time of 1:54.249 in the closing stages, led Nico Hülkenberg by 0.784 seconds, while only 11 drivers opted to record flying laps. More to follow.
