Hamilton blitzes rivals for Silverstone pole

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton will start the F1 2013 British Grand Prix from pole position after a stunning lap in Q3 left his rivals floundering.Hamilton was required to up his game on his final flying lap after team-mate Nico Rosberg improved, and he duly did, firing his W04 across the line in 1 minute 29.607 seconds – making him the only man to break the 1m 30s barrier and putting a 0.452 second margin between himself and the sister car.It was Hamilton's second pole position of the season and the 28th of his career, while for Mercedes the squad has now taken five pole positions so far this year and has locked out the front-row three times.Sebastian Vettel meanwhile could only manage...
