Historic Silverstone prepares to welcome the drivers, teams and fans for the British Grand Prix on Sunday following two heavily contrasting days of weather conditions.
Friday's downpour cost many teams valuable time in their bid to understand their cars as much as possible ahead of qualifying, but it did not appear to hinder Mercedes as they locked out the front row on Saturday. Lewis Hamilton pulled out a stunning final lap to seal his second pole at Silverstone by 0.452 seconds, causing pandemonium in the grandstands as the Union Jack-coated fans made their approval abundantly clear. The big question is whether or not Mercedes can hang on in the race as Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber...
