Marussia hopeful Bianchi will be fit to race

Marussia are hopeful that Jules Bianchi will recover in time for qualifying on Saturday after he came down with a stomach bug on Friday. The Frenchman missed out on FP1 after Rodolfo Gonzalez was scheduled to be behind the wheel of the MR02, which Bianchi was pleased about as it gave him time to rest ahead of the second session. "Today was a very short day for me, which is unfortunate," he said. "It was already scheduled some time ago that Rodolfo would drive in FP1 and as things turned out that enabled me to rest and hopefully feel better.
