Hamilton: I'm a little bit overwhelmed
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton admitted he was a bit 'overwhelmed' after qualifying on pole for the German Grand Prix.Hamilton had struggled in practice at the Nurburgring and was only seventh quickest this morning, more than a second off the pace of Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.However between the end of FP3 and qualifying, he managed to turn things around and with the help from his mechanics got the F1 W04 to his liking and eventually took top spot in the top-ten shootout by 0.103 seconds.“I'm very proud to put the car on pole for Mercedes-Benz today,” Hamilton said. “I have been with Mercedes for a long time and it's a great result for us to achieve pole here in Germany.“I'm a...
