FIA confirms Silverstone test rules

The FIA has confirmed that rules that will be in place for next week's 'Young Driver Test' at Silverstone.With the test having been opened up to more experienced drivers to allow teams to work with Pirelli on tyre testing, suggestions had been made that the test could be expanded to four days to allow teams to still run their planned Young Driver programmes.The governing body has now confirmed however that the team will run, as originally planned, over three days from 17-19 July.The tyres that will be available to teams will be a combination of the 2012 construction alongside the 2013 compounds and more experienced drivers will only be able to work through programmes focused on the...
