Domenicali: Alonso will not leave Ferrari

Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali says he is certain Fernando Alonso will remain with the outfit next season, shunning rumours of a possible move to rivals Red Bull. The speculation arose over the course of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend, during which Alonso's manager, Luis Garcia Abad, held conversations with Christian Horner, whose Red Bull team is pondering a replacement for the outgoing Mark Webber. Asked if he is afraid of losing Alonso, Domenicali replied: "No. First of all we have a contract with him." The Italian added: "Fernando is an asset to the team.
