Allison to join Ferrari in September

Ferrari has confirmed that James Allison will join the team from September 1st. Allison left his position as Lotus technical director earlier this season and was linked with several teams. He joins Ferrari as their ‘chassis technical director'. As part of the deal, Pat Fry now becomes director of engineering at the team. Ferrari has won two races this season, in China and Spain. The team sits in third place in the Constructors Championship.
