Van der Garde optimistic for Belgian GP

Giedo van der Garde is approaching this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix in a positive frame of mind, having recorded his best result of the season in Hungary last time out. The Caterham driver, who finished 14th in the final race before the summer break, reiterated that although the gap to the midfield teams is "getting too big" to pose a realistic challenge, Spa-Francorchamps has the ability to produce mixed up results. "I think we have a good chance of doing something nice at Spa," van der Garde, who attended the VKV City Racing Rotterdam last weekend, explained to GPUpdate.net.
