Red Bull to run 2014 Pirelli test

New Red Bull signing Daniel Ricciardo will drive a 2011 Red Bull racer later this week when he takes part in a Pirelli test. The Aussie will be action for one of the two days in Spain as Red Bull use an old car to help Pirelli develop their 2014 tyres. "Pirelli approached all of the teams to see if they would be prepared to supply a 2011 car to conduct some 2014 tyre testing. So we've made a car available to Pirelli," team boss Christian Horner told Reuters. "Sebastien Buemi, our test driver, will be driving on one day and Daniel Ricciardo will probably drive on the other because it's an opportunity just for him to familiarise himself more with the team."
