Rosberg 'confident' over race potential

Nico Rosberg is confident that Mercedes will enjoy strong race pace during tomorrow evening's Singapore Grand Prix, for which he has qualified on the front row of the grid. Despite missing out to pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel by just 0.091 seconds, having opted to complete one more run than his fellow German in Saturday's final qualifying phase, Rosberg has his sights set on taking the fight to his Red Bull rival in race trim. "Sebastian has been very quick all weekend," began Rosberg. "It was very, very close again, so it's a pity [to miss out on pole]. One tenth more would have been possible somewhere!
