Caterham confirm Renault engines until 2016

Caterham will continue using Renault power next season when Formula One racing moves to a new 1.6-litre, V6 engine formula, the team confirmed on Sunday as they announced a three-year extension to their current supply agreement with the French manufacturer.From 2014, Caterham’s cars will be equipped with the Energy F1, Renault’s new cutting edge powerplant designed for the radically revised technical regulations. The Energy F1 unites a V6 turbocharged, direct-injection internal combustion engine with two motor generator units.
