Sirotkin makes his Sauber debut

Russian teenager Sergey Sirotkin had his first taste of Formula One when he took part in a demo run at the Sochi International Street Circuit. The 18-year-old is set to join the Formula One circus next season after Sauber signed a sponsorship deal that includes several Russian backers. Sirotkin had his first taste of the machinery on Friday, driving a C31 along the 700 meters of tarmac that are already finished a the Sochi circuit. "These were my first metres in a Formula One car, which obviously is something very special, even though it was only a short part of the Sochi track," said the youngster. "Nevertheless I was able to gain a first impression, and this was awesome....
