Daniil Kvyat named as Toro Rosso driver for 2014

Toro Rosso has announced that Daniil Kvyat will replace Daniel Ricciardo for the 2014 season. Ricciardo has signed for Red Bull as a replacement for the retiring Mark Webber. Kvyat, 19, is another product of the Red Bull Junior Driver Programme and will partner Jean-Eric Vergne. This season he has been competing in GP3 and the Formula 3 European Championship. "We are pleased to continue our policy of bringing on drivers from the Red Bull Junior Programme," Franz Tost said.
