Boullier: Third a more realistic target

Eric Boullier has conceded that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Lotus to claim second position in the Constructors' standings, with its main rivals still possessing a healthy points advantage ahead of the final two rounds of the season. Despite a steady flow of podiums throughout the campaign, most recently courtesy of Romain Grosjean, the Enstone-based outfit finds itself 26 points adrift of Ferrari and a further 11 behind Mercedes prior to the United States and Brazilian Grands Prix. And although team boss Boullier says his workforce will not give up in its quest to secure the runner-up spot, he believes that third position is now a more realistic aim. Boullier: Third more...
