Maldonado ‘very happy' to leave Williams

Pastor Maldonado says he is ‘very happy' at the prospect of leaving Williams, believing that he delivered more to the team than they did for him.
Williams confirmed on Monday that Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas will race for the team in 2014, ending their three year association with Maldonado.
Maldonado won the Spanish Grand Prix for the team last year, but in both 2011 and 2013 the Venezuelan has scored just a single point.
'I am very happy,' he said. 'Since a couple of months I was in conversation with the team and I wanted to leave the team. That is it. I am very happy for that. It was my decision. In Singapore I decided to leave the team more or less and it...
