Lead McLaren Perez hoping to put on a show

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Sergio Perez expressed mixed emotions after qualifying in seventh place for the United States Grand Prix. Perez, starting his penultimate race for McLaren, says he hopes to be able to put on a good show for the local fans, with many having travelled across the border from nearby Mexico, Perez's home country. 'Obviously, I’m very pleased, but, when you’re so close to the cars in front, you still want to improve,' he said. 'In that respect, I’m slightly disappointed – but if you’d told me I’d be seventh before the start of qualifying, I’d have taken it. 'For qualifying, I was just able to relax and focus.
