Red Bull claim F1's first sub two-second pit stop

Red Bull’s run of breaking records seem endless. The championship winning team claim that it registered Formula 1’s first ever sub two-second pit stop during the United States Grand Prix on Sunday. It was Mark Webber who benefitted from the remarkable effort on lap 28, which was displayed on television as a 2.05 second stop. But Red Bull assert otherwise. “Our data showed Mark’s car was stationary for 1.923 seconds during his pit stop – breaking our previous record of 2.05 seconds (set at the 2013 Malaysian GP),” read a statement from Red Bull.
