Perez: I risked everything

Sergio Perez says he took his chances in Saturday's qualifying for the Brazilian GP, however, it "ended badly." The Mexican driver, who is in the hunt for a new team for next season after being dropped by McLaren, crashed out of Q2 while in 14th place. Putting a wheel on the wet kerb at Turn 5, the back end of his MP4-27 spun out resulting in Perez taking a hard lick into the barriers. And although Perez was unhurt, the right rear corner of his car was ripped off as well as the front wing. "I think the crash looked bigger than it was," he told the BBC. "The hit was not that big.
