Ferrari calls meeting to discuss double points

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has summoned bosses from all 11 Formula 1 teams to discuss recent changes, particularly the double points for the final race. The meeting, scheduled for mid-January, has been organised by the Italian with the sole reason of discussing ways to improve the sport for the fans. "I have the intention to invite [them all] to Maranello, not to discuss a single point that maybe can give an advantage to one team or another, but to talk about the overall approach to Formula 1," he said.
