Prost backs 'positive' engine changes
Alain Prost believes the new 2014 engine regulations will see Formula One return to the "essence of the competition that we have lost a little bit."
Last year Formula One bid farewell to the 2.4-litre V8 engines as the sport is swapping to 1.6-litre turbocharged V6s with ERS.
The change has divided both the paddock and the fans with some in favour and some sorely against.
Prost, though, reckons it is the right call.
"It is a question that is very difficult to have your own judgement: it is too much, is it too far?," the four-time World Champ told Autosport when asked whether the new rules went too far.
