Renault showcases new V6 power unit

– Renault has published a selection of images of its new turbocharged power unit, the Energy F1-2014. The French manufacturer is one of three brands providing the Formula 1 grid with engines – alongside Mercedes and Ferrari – as the transition is made from V8 powerplants to the latest V6 turbocharged era. For 2014, Renault has varying supply contracts with Red Bull, Lotus, Toro Rosso and Caterham. Pictures of Renault's new engine can be viewed in the designated GPUpdate.net gallery
