McLaren MP4-29 makes Jerez debut

The 2014 Formula 1 machine that McLaren hope will return them to the top step of the podium, the MP4-29, made its on track debut earlier today. The car was officially launched online last week, but it failed to take to the Jerez circuit on day one of winter testing yesterday. The team faced difficulties preparing the MP4-29 for the opening test session. 'Despite firing up successfully at the MTC last week, the car was predominantly affected by electrical issues during the day,' the team said in a statement.
